Thanks - it was fantastic. Real old school gig - small venue, hot, rammed full of people, great atmosphere, loud (my ears have only just recovered) and the music wasn't bad either!

Actually, the music was brilliant. Wilko is a great guitarist, still has that distinctive sound and makes it looks easy. Norman Watt-Roy is a phenomenally good bass player. Ex Ian Dury and the Blockheads, so responsible for the bass on Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick. He has also played sessions for countless other groups. Great to be able to see talent like that at such close quarters.

Anyway, today I have been mostly listening to Dr Feelgood, Wilko and Ian Dury :D

A bit of Four Tet ('There is Love in You'), and also a bit of Dolly Parton which went down surprisingly well with the kids in the car - they are seriously digging 'Jolene'! :D

Haha! No prize I'm afraid... but you made davey smile!

Its gonna be more Cash this morning and I reckon the new stripped down version of John Lennon - 'Double Fantasy' later.

Cheers all, and have a good day,

davey.
