Ha! I liked reading that one! Not the first to make that mistake and I'm sure not the last either!
A few years ago Steve was the 'secret' headline at a little christmas party gig in London. Right up to the last minutes he was billed as C16 or something similar.

C16 is a pretty cool name, reminds me of pirated games on the ZX Spectrum. You could get Atic Atac on one side of a C15 cassette and Manic Miner on the other

I was in Amsterdam for the 1st jools thing it was on at about 05.00am and yeah I was slightly drunk etc. anyway I too didn't get the name so as a reminder I texted Sea Stick Steve to myself...

I had a similar experience with Steve. Took me about 3 months and a chance find in a newspaper to finally remember the name of "that awesome american guy" I seen on Jules Holland.
