Cheers Davey

Should be a blast like last time!

Last show of the current run too so should be good.

Jools always good for new bands recommend a listen to Vintage Trouble who I first heard on Jools couple of weeks ago.

Just my opinion - not sure the bass was needed or added anything...

Know what you mean about bass Steve and Dan drowned it out but think whoever was in charge of the sound for the show should be sacked. Vocals for all the bands were terrible. Or was it just my tv/ears?

Missed the show on tuesday night but just watched the performance on you tube and a definate sense of deja vue as it blew me away and i just sat listening with a dumb ass smile on my face.

I agree with the comments on the sound not being the best (if you tube was a good reflection that is) but i gotta say i thought john paul jones was a great addition and it was so clear how much he enjoyed the stage with Steve and Dan and his bass lines were just enough without detracting from the two guys...its all good :)

Interesting wee interview with Steve and JPJ on Jools......is this a trio for this year?

If it is I can't wait as JPJ is an amazing musician.

We may very well have a special guest bassist for a selection of the summer shows this year...maybe ;) ;)

JPJ will definitely be at the Electric Ballroom gig on Thursday, though, as will yours truly!

I watched Tuesday's show and liked the ending of the number where Dan throws down his ride cymbal. I'm telling people to watch it on Friday's show then he doesn't do it. Obviously two versions done.
