I've just been watching Steve and Dan do 'Never Go West' on Jools Holland (on t'internet) and I have to say I reckon Dan should get the title! The man is a powerhouse :)

Just thought I would have a little bit of Zep live today.

Found some more interesting German bootlegs on Y-Tube.

Good stuff. ;)

Nice one! It was (would of been) his 100th birthday after all, so it just seemed the right soundtrack for the day.

Howlin' Wolf is one of my favourites and "Smokestack Lightning" is a true clasic.
I had the Complete Recordings of Robert Johnston last night to keep the mood going :)

Big man, big voice...never get tired of listening to the Wolf.

Last night around here it was RHCP's live at Slaine Castle.
This morning it's been Ben Harper and the Blind Boys of Alabama Live at the Apollo.

I've been listening to the soundtracks in the two Boondock Saints movies. I really like those movies and the soundtracks are great, as good IMHO as good as "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" although in a very different way ... Celtic and bad-ass rock & roll. Here's a couple of examples:

... think I'll work out a banjo part to #2 :)
