Hey John, great - I'm told Hop Farm is a real nice one. Not heard of Solfest but will check it out.
I might be heading off to Cornbury at the end of the month.
Have a great time!
davey.

Well went to sleep on the first night at Hop Farm, got up in the morning and someone had come into our tent during the night and nicked the money out of my wallet that was at my feet.
Also happened to over 20 others

Damn, thats a pity. I hope it didn't completely spoil your weekend. Do you have any insurance you can claim on?

Re: Festivals
That's terrible about the wallet situation.
Why is it people have to spoil festival goers fun doing shit like that?
Hope it all worked out.

The thing is they came into the tent while we were asleep,we can claim on our ins but you have to pay the first £50 then how much will your policy go up because of the claim. Friday was a bit of a downer but you have to move on. Really enjoyed the stranglers, Primal Scream, Bellowhead, Levellers, and Sir Bruce to name but a few.
Have tried contacting Hop Farm about it but nobody wants to talk to me about it. I had a few sugestions on how they might help stop it in the future.
But all they were concerned about was people not getting there own alchohol into the areana

Yeah, fest organisers can be a bit blinkered can't they. I suppose controlling who gets alcohol (by controlling it coming in and limiting who can buy on site) is probably a good safety thing - but it would at least be nice to be listened too as you have suggestions.
Very glad you caught some great music - hope you'll remember that long after the lost money is forgotten.
cheers for now, davey.
