Who designs Seasick Steve's artwork?
Sun 18 Oct 2009

As there have been some questions and speculation about this, I want to clarify once and for all:
Didrik Wold, one of Steve's sons, is an illustrator/designer and is responsible for the whole visual side of Seasick Steve's project.
He's been involved since day one and has designed all the artwork for all of Steve's albums.
Didrik also designed all of Steve's merchandise (with the exception of the cartoon Steve design).
He has also designed (not coded/developed/built, but designed) all of Steve's official websites and helps to run them.
In addition to all that, all the Seasick Steve print advertisements are either designed by Didrik, or based on his original artwork.
So, basically, with very few exceptions, any official Seasick Steve related artwork you might see has all been designed by Didrik.
Now, stop changing his wikipedia credit, please. :)
All the best,
The Skunk =)
PS - The hand screen-printed posters that have been sold at a few gigs were designed and printed by Chris Hopewell of Jacknife Posters. He's awesome!
